Today I have a woman who is truly after my own heart. Jeanette Lowry, I've had so many conversations with women who are mid-career, mid-life, maybe their kids have

left the house and they're trying to figure out their what next and they don't know where

to turn. And you have made a career out of helping women figure this out,

and others, I will say. But I'm really excited to dive in and hear how you decided to embark on this journey so thank you for being here.

Thank you for the end of a night. I appreciate it. Yeah I'm grandma now so I

mostly probably interviews, but I started at nine years old in gymnastics and I knew at

at that point it was going to be difficult to keep me in a box. I was always a

pied piper walking outside the lines and my father was a small business as

well he did insurance He started his own company. So, you know, it was foot-mouth

at first, hand in mouth at first, with six kids, and it was struggle but once he got it off the ground I started

seeing that lifestyle of residual recurring income so he had more freedom, more time with us, go boating on the

weekends, camping during the week or what have you. And I thought that's what I want to do. So it was almost by age 11 that I had decided that this is what I want to do.

It was by accident though, seriously. I didn't know what it was going to look like I mean I tried all kinds of things

selling purses online and whatever but when a girlfriend called me up in 1990 and

said hey found a skincare you're going to dig this. I know that you always

have breakouts, which I was still having after my first child. I said, yes, where can I buy it?

And she said, well, we can't get it retail. It's word of mouth. And I said, okay, great. So I tried it, loved it, people noticed, and seven years just kind of by accident started building this network and

within two years got the phone call saying do you know what your check is and

I'm like it was in the mailbox at that time we didn't have

direct deposit so I said I was going to call the company I think they made a mistake
