Music Hello and welcome to I know Dino. I'm Garrett. And I'm Sabrina. This week, our dinosaur of the day is Akellosaurus. We have a bunch of dinosaur news.

So jumping right into the news, the Isle of White, also known as Dinosaur Island, which is what we usually call it, an island just south of Britain.

It's almost like connected.

There's barely any space in between them.

They have a new dinosaur that's nearly put together, and it's been identified as a mantellosaurus,

and for the last two years, they've been preparing it at the Sandown Museum on Dinosaur Island.

So they posted a picture of the bones laid out because they're planning how they might want to display it or what they might need to do to conserve it, you know, which bones they'll put on display, if any, and, you know, which ones they'll have to replace with replicas or try to

fill in with something similar.

And from the picture, it looks like they probably have about three quarters of the bones,

which is quite a bit considering a lot of times we talk about dinosaur finds where they just

have one or two bones.

And we often remark that, you know, an 80 or 90% complete dinosaur skeleton is pretty

remarkable. So it's a really cool one. In an interview with Isle of White County Press,
