This is something that I have looked forward to for a long time because the sentiment in this city is as low as I've seen it, because we have

so many different issues going around right now. Crime, homelessness, housing, Hollywood,

downtown, fire recovery. And frankly, it's not just the narrative from outside. It's people

in Los Angeles that are sad, frustrated, angry with this city and the

state of what's happening. And that's why I wanted to have Mayor Karen Bass on today to discuss

her perspective, what she's doing about it, and frankly what people are perceiving as failures

of leadership. So listen, I tried to get to the major issues.

I received 1,200 comments on a post that I posted last night as far as what I should ask Mayor Bass.

I received 300 additional DMs. There was a lot to dig through, and I tried my best to cover all

of that. We had a very limited time. So I got to the

main points. I feel that we did a good job covering a lot of ground. I'm not here to attack her.

I'm here to ask her questions. And I ask difficult questions, questions that are weighing on me.

And you know how I feel. I'm always honest about this stuff.

The city's direction is at best questionable right now.

And we all want to uplift Los Angeles and make this the greatest city on the globe.

And that starts with the mayor.

So I ask that you watch this interview with an open mind and an open heart and hope that we have the potential issues identified and

some solutions that we can start improving Los Angeles and that will start with Mayor Karen Bass.
