particularly through challenging circumstances, things that make you scary, difficult experiences

in your life. Because you know at this point listening to this show that confidence doesn't

just happen to you. It's not just something that you're born with.

Confidence is a muscle that you build or a skill that you develop over time. And so one of the

primary ways to build that skill is to take action, is to do what scares you, do what makes

you uncomfortable, take the risk, whether it's going to talk to that person

that you're interested in, applying for that job, going to that interview, speaking up in that way,

taking on that physical challenge, whatever it is. And you do that, and as you do that, you build

confidence. Now, that's, well, it's fairly basic from a purely intellectual standpoint, but as

you know, doing it, practicing it, living it to actually develop the confidence that you want,
