It's not for his.

He's telling us what will make us happy.

What will make us powerful?

What will put us in a position where the devil can't touch us?

He's telling us how to live a life that is so far superior that you can't hardly believe it.

And we have the audacity to obey him, yes, but just a little bit.

There's just a little bit that we, you know, Saul when God told him to go in and kill all the women, the men, the babies, the cattle, don't leave anything.

And Saul did a little too much thinking.

And instead of just doing what God told him to do, he killed everybody,

kept, got rid of everything except the good stuff.

And when Saul confronted him about it, Prophet Saul, he said, well, I just kept the good things to sacrifice them to the Lord.

Now you're really getting lying. Oh, I just did it for you, Lord. I desire sacrifice. I desire

obedience, not sacrifice. And I think sometimes we don't obey God in something

and then we will do something like give extra money in the offering. And I think it just

happens so fast sometimes we don't even realize what we're doing. We're trying to make up for

something else that we should have done and we

didn't do. Wonder how happy it would make the Lord if everybody that's a Christian never complained.
