Accept each moment as if you had chosen it.

Then, what looks like an obstacle becomes an opening into transcendence.

So, first of all, I'd like to ask you to, as you sit there, to become aware of yourself.

No. What does that mean?

Usually, to become aware of yourself, you would go into thought, because what you usually identify,

with as yourself, consists of thought plus some emotions that accompany the thoughts.

So, usually, when people refer to themselves, myself, they're talking about the me that consists of thought and emotion,

mentally emotional entity.

And so, when I ask you to become aware of yourself, you would usually make reference to your name and your history,

your general life situation.

But if you look at it more closely, your name, your history, and your general life situations,

right here and now, only exist as thought.

Your entire life situation, which includes your relationships,

all the things from your past that have brought you into your present situation,

your health situation, or other aspects of your life situation,

whether it's great at the moment or dreadful at the moment, whether you've lost

your job and your money and your home, and here you are, or you've just bought a mansion,

and you've just got a new private jet, and you have a trophy wife or trophy husband,

identify to feed your ego.
