under 23s and under 19s the under 19s already out the 23s with a game to come. That plus the departure of

course of Neil Crichley from the under 23s to Blackpool to come on

I'm Guy Clark alongside me Matt Addison and

Matt since we were last sat in the chairs talking all things Academy that's been a

fair bit of change isn't it?

There certainly has it came out with the blue of course Neil Critchley's departure as I'm sure everyone will be aware of by now, but yeah a huge change for the Academy and someone that's been here I think seven years, eight years now

and has made a massive impact on so many of these young players that we've seen

coming through the system and I think you could tell really straight away from

the reaction from everyone from

journalists to fans to the players who have been coached by Neil Grichley just how well

loved he was and how much he'll be missed.

Yeah there were a few names in the frame for the Blackpool job.

Coincidentally, one of those being Carl Robinson and we're going to have a bit of chat about Oxford coming up shortly,

but Blackpool obviously wanted a coach who was involved

in the development phase of players, Carl Robinson obviously previously himself having

been an academy coach at Liverpool.

Great opportunity though for Neil Critchley and after being at

Liverpool for a good period of time now working with the 23s. I suppose for him it's a brilliant
