as we hear tonight's sleep story. Welcome to this bedtime story from Abide a sleep meditation written

from the inspiration of the scriptures to help you relax and fall asleep

please take a moment to remove anything that might be distracting to you settle into bed and make yourself

comfortable take a nice deep breath in and release it slowly

tonight we are going to hear comforting words that the Lord spoke to Jeremiah the prophet

Jeremiah had been called to a daunting ministry

of speaking truth to the people of Judah, and though they did not listen to him, he remained

faithful to God even behind prison doors Jeremiah received peace and truth from the Lord

in chapter 33 the faithful prophet heard the Lord say behold I will bring this place to health and healing

I will heal them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth breathe deeply of God's abundant peace and truth tonight feel his presence

surrounding you.

Oh, how he loves you.

You are safe in his care.

And now, please allow me to pray over you.

Heavenly Father, full of peace and truth, I ask that you cover this listener tonight.

With your presence and your promises, I ask that you fill their minds with such peace.

They will overflow with joy and gratitude.

Lord, in the stillness of the room, let them know you are there.

With each breath they take, fill them with your love and goodness.

For you are God you are holy you are worthy I pray for this beloved person
