Max Verstappen won the Abadabie Grand Prix,

with Mercedes clinching second in the Constructors Championship,

and McLaren holding off Aston Martin,

and pipping them for fourth in the Constructors' Championship.

The podium was Vastappen-LaclarsRussel, even though Perez finished second on the road.

More on that later, as a penalty demoted him to fourth.

The two McLaren's coming home, Linus Stern, Norris and Piastri, 5th and 6th, respectively.

As Formula One now heads into the winter break, but not before some essential partying to be happening,

like next weekend at the Autosports Awards, when all the big motorsport awards of the year will be dished out,

and everyone has their posh frocks on.

Before we start to wind down for this year, there'll also be season reviews and things to pick apart from 2023, and more importantly,

because the rules are largely stable, learning what that means for 2024 and the forthcoming

seasons until a big rule change in 26. Let's talk about the driver battles today. The driver
