Hello and welcome to unlock the Bible now. I'm Brother Scott Mitchell. Very happy you could join us again today for another message out of God's word.

Our aim is always to try to show you the truth, rightly divided, as we compare scripture

in the hopes that it might cause you to grow closer in your walk with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Today's message is based on another question that comes from two of our subscribers to Bible

mysteries podcasts. So we'll dive into that in just a moment, but first I'd like to ask you to

join me in a word of prayer. Heavenly Father, we thank thee for my mercy and grace, and we thank

thee for the Lord Jesus Christ who died for our sins and was raised for our justification.

We ask that you would fill us with your spirit to understand the things you've written.

And we pray the Holy Ghost would teach us and that we would receive the things with all readiness

of mind, and that you would reveal that which you would have us learn.

We pray it would bring glory and

honor to thy name and to the Lord Jesus Christ, and we ask that it would edify each one within

the sound of my voice. We ask this all in His precious and holy name. Amen. This question comes to us

from Teresa and Tom, and they write, Where do Christians go after death but before the rapture?

What is the state of Christians who pass away prior to the rapture?

Specifically, do Christians remain in their graves awaiting the rapture, or are they present with the Lord, for example, in Abraham's bosom?

Or in another state, such as Hades or torment.

The following scriptural references appear to offer differing perspectives, and they go on to list a number of passages which will go through each one of those.
