Sean Chiby Middlebro was a prisoner in HMP Wandsworth, held on remand while awaiting trial for over a year.

That's 12 months in jail without ever

having been convicted of a crime. One of the Filton 24, he was arrested in charge in November

2024, following a Palestine Action direct action to disable an Albert weapons plant in Filton near Bristol,

that he is alleged to have participated in that. As you know, Palestine action was proscribed

as a terrorist organization in July

by then Home Secretary of Ed Cooper. It is currently an offense under the terrorism legislation

to express support for the group, though that prescription will be the subject of a judicial review

by the end of this month. Middlebrous trial in the Filton case is not set to begin

until the middle of next year, meaning he would have spent nearly two years in prison before ever

facing a jury. But last week, he was granted conditional bail to attend a family event.

Midlebro never returned to the prison and is now at large, wanted by the police.

Sean, you were granted conditional bail to go and attend a family event, so you were freed from H&P,

Wonsworth, where you'd been held on remand for over a year.
