Please, any suggestions or tips you could give for a woman with an androgen body type.

As you know, fat accumulates mostly on the torso.

In my case, upper back significantly reduced 2.5 centimeters, less under the bust in the last month.

I wasn't measuring it before.

But abdominal perimeter remains almost untouched.

I am aware that it will be the last fat to lose, but if you've got any tips, that will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. So, good news and bad news, right? And rather than kind of giving you bad news or good news, I'm just going to give you more data. I've spoken about this a lot. So apologies to anybody who has heard this before, but I think it's always good to hear it again. So as a woman, especially a woman in menopause or perimenopause, what happens is we, our body tries to store fat around our middle. 1:16.7

Because the cells, the metabolically active fat cells around your middle, produce estrogen,

which is a much weaker form of estrogen.

1:23.7

So, unfortunately, and terribly unfairly, your body will burn fat from the soles of your feet,

1:30.3

from the back of your hands, from your earloops, okay, rather than burn away that fat in your belly.

1:37.7

It is almost as if it will only strip away that fat as a very, very last resort.

1:44.5

And I have personal experience with this because I didn't start training in the gym

until I was 37.

And I had had four kids by the time I was 37.

1:52.6

And I was pretty skinny all over my body because I had been,

1:58.8

I decided after I had my fourth child, Jack, that I was going to get into really,

2:03.6

really good shape. But me getting into really good shape meant the only thing I had,

2:09.4

the only thing I understood about being in really good shape was losing body fat. So I just dieted
