0:17.7	Have you ever heard the turn a self-made man? Usually it refers to someone who had nothing and
0:26.3	became wealthy and influential all on his own. Usually it's one of those rags to
0:33.3	riches stories. We've all heard them read about them, seen them on TV. But today I want to talk about
0:39.2	a man who became wealthy, influential, and he was a legacy lever on this earth. Now this man was not
0:51.2	a self-made man. His label read God made man. He was a God made man. And the reason I say and
1:03.5	describe him as a God made man is because God spoke to him and said something very significant to him.
1:10.9	Now this man's name is Abraham. Yeah, Abraham, the father of our faith, the one we read about in Genesis.
1:21.4	He was a God made man. In Genesis 12, too. He was living in a land where his father had settled.
1:30.6	His relatives were all there. When God spoke to him, he said this to him. He said Abraham,
1:37.3	I want you to leave the land of your father and I want to take you to a land that I will show you
1:48.4	and I want to make you into a great nation. What God spoke to him was I want to take you and I want
1:59.4	to make you. That's why Abraham wears the label God made man because he willingly trusted God
2:12.7	to take him somewhere. He didn't know he was even going where he was even going and he trusted God
2:20.0	to make him able to do what God had called him to do. Now God said this to Abraham. He said Abraham,
2:29.7	I'm going to make you wealthy. I'm going to make you a blessing and I will make you where you bless
2:38.0	other people. He said I'm going to make you a great nation and all the people on earth will
2:46.8	be blessed because of you. Listen, I'd rather wear a God made man label any day, wouldn't you?
2:53.8	That sounds good to me, didn't it? I want to make you and you see he willingly went and obeyed
3:01.0	God and God fulfilled his promises to Abraham and today that willing God made man allowed you and I
3:11.0	to stand in the place we stand today as believers in Jesus Christ because he told Abraham that I'm
