NFL networks Mike Garofolo reported that starting left guard, Lander Dickerson had thumb surgery on Wednesday and is expected to miss some time.

But he will not be placed on IR, which is a positive, and so that means

that he won't have to miss at least for games. Because he won't be placed on IR IR that means he's likely to only miss

probably like one or two games and so that's the plus especially with the

playoffs right around the corner and so with Landon Dickerson out on Christmas day against the New York Giant, you can expect to see probably

rookie Tyler Stein filling in for him or even maybe veteran Jack Driscoll. Also, Kim Jurgens was not able to go on Monday night against the Seattle Seahawks.

He was dealing with a pectoral injury.
