It's a great day to talk football and that is Eagles football, of course, and I'm your

host of Rachel Pervette, getting you hip very quick to what's happening.

It's been a crazy, crazy, wild week in the NFL but we made it through and I don't even

know where to begin.

There's a lot that's been going on so I'm just going to start on a high note.

After contemplating retirement, Eagles veteran Senator Jason Kelsey announced that he will

be returning for the 2022 NFL season.

According to NFL insider Ian Rappapore, the Eagles and Jason Kelsey have agreed to a new

$14 million contract making him the highest paid center in the league.

This will be Kelsey's 12 season and he's 34 years old.

He was named first team all pro for the fourth time in his career in 2021 and he also

made his fifth pro bowl appearance so shout out to him.

This is super exciting and refreshing news, especially since Jason Kelsey is such a huge

leader on the roster in such a difference maker when it comes to the Eagles offensive line.

So congratulations to him and we are so happy to have him back.

On Wednesday, it was announced that the Indianapolis Colts are trading quarterback Carson

and wins to the Washington commanders, which means the Colts get a 2022 third round pick,

a conditional 2023 third round pick which means it can become a second round pick if Carson

wins plays in 70% of the snaps and a 2022 second round pick and the commanders get Carson

wins of course in a 2022 second round pick, which pretty much means that the teams swap
