Hello and welcome to a very special episode of You Me and the Big C. With me, Steve

Bland, and I'm afraid this week it's only me. I packed the girls off and hopefully that

on me and I can get a word in. But it's one year since the death of my wife Rachel, who

as all of you will know, created this incredible podcast. And it's a podcast that she was really,

really, really proud of. And as well as, you know, changing so many lives and helping so

many people, it also gave her so much. And so from me, I just want to say a massive thank you

to everyone who's listened, everybody who supported Rachel and the girls, everybody who

sent messages of love and support to Rachel. I can't even tell you what it did for her, the

confidence that it gave her. So thank you. As I say, we thought the best way to pay tribute

to her was to put a little podcast together. And it begins right at the very start. And

you'll hear the first time the girls got in the studio together, you'll hear the chemistry

that was just instant. And unbelievably, it was the first time Rachel, Deborah and Lauren

had met face to face. They've been social media friends, but it was first time they met face

to face. And it's just absolutely brilliant to hear them behind the scenes stuff that you

won't have heard before. Lauren, Deborah and myself will be back for a new series in a few

weeks time. And we've got loads and loads and loads and loads of great stuff coming for you,

loads of great guests, loads of great topics. So keep listening, keep using the hashtag you

mean, Big C, to tell us what you want us to be talking about. And I really, really hope
