Abortion is making a comeback in this year's midterm elections.

Hello again, I'm Orman Alley, and this is To the Point from Public Radio International.

A daily look at the issues Americans care about most. In 2012, Democrats beat anti-apportioned Republicans by invoking what they call the war

against women. Instead of backing away from the issue, the GOP has reframed it, still advocating

the right to life while denying the right to a taxpayer subsidy. State legislatures have recently

passed more than 200 anti-abortion laws.

Many supporters of the right to choose also approve some restrictions. It's one social issue

that really divides Americans right down the middle. Will it help determine who controls the

U.S. Senate and Congress? Today's talking point, are U.S. security clearances subject to massive fraud?
