So the big news, the big, big, big news is that the Supreme Court late last night failed

refused to stay or suspend action on Texas's new highly restrictive abortion law.

It did not rule on the constitutionality or lack thereof of the law.

But by a five to four measure said that the law which went into effect yesterday, I guess

September 1st could continue to be enforced while it was adjudicated in the courts.

And what we are being told by supporters of abortion rights and Democrats everywhere is

that Roe v. Wade has now been overturned.

Effectively Roe v. Wade has been overturned, which of course is not true.

I say of course, maybe I shouldn't say of course, because

most people are going to believe that that's the case if this is what the line is proffered.
