Summary
As we look at the different ways we are to abide in the true vine of God, today we’ll explore the concept of prayer. It is my hope today we walk away with simplified prayer lives. As you learn to seek out the heartbeat of God, may you grow in confidence in his love for you and those around you.

| 0:57.5 | ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. |
| 1:01.6 | By this, my father is glorified, |
| 1:04.6 | that you bear much fruit, |
| 1:06.6 | and so prove to be my disciples. |
| 1:12.4 | Jesus makes an almost unbelievable promise |
| 1:16.2 | in our verse for today. |
| 1:18.1 | He promises that if we abide in him |
| 1:20.6 | and allow His words to abide in us, |
| 1:24.0 | then we can ask anything we desire of God, and it will happen. |
| 1:28.3 | Clearly, this is a vital passage for us to understand today. |
| 1:34.3 | I believe that the Lord has fresh revelation in store for us. |
| 1:39.3 | It will take Him out His Word and allow Him to transform our understanding of what it is to petition our Heavenly Father. |
| 1:48.4 | So let's open our hearts and minds and allow the Holy Spirit to come and do a work in us today |
| 1:55.0 | as we place our trust in Jesus' Word. I've spent a large part of my Christian life, praying without understanding how to pray. |
