As we end our week today on abiding in the True Vine, today we’ll explore how to abide in God’s promised joy. What does it mean for us to walk in joy and be people marked by joy in this world? How do we even go about doing that? May we be filled afresh with joy today as we seek these answers out.

| 1:32.6 | Scripture is clear that our God doesn't desire to keep his joy to himself, |

| 1:41.8 | Toward the end of the John 15 1-17 passage that we've been studying this week, Jesus says, |

| 1:57.8 | God's plan is to fill us with the fullness of joy that's grounded solely in him, |
| 2:03.4 | rather than the ever-changing circumstances around us. |
| 2:07.9 | That's why Galatians 5-22 tells us that the fruit of the Spirit is joy. |
| 2:14.8 | Joy is meant to come from the Holy Spirit within us. |
| 2:18.2 | It's in relationship with God that we experience his abundant joy. |
