that hopefully might make you feel a little bit differently if you are wanting to quit something or you're

thinking about giving up drink, drugs or some kind of other addiction. I have the amazing

Abby Felton on here to talk about her journey, her crazy journey with addiction. And we talk about BPD, we talk about her having a brain tumor. So yeah,

it's a really, really hefty episode. As some of you know, I am a year and a half sober. I was a

drug addict for 10 years. And when I got sober, I had all of these crazy repressed

memories that I had locked up, literally locked up in a box in my brain for 30 years. I had

no idea that I had had child sexual trauma. And about a month into sobriety, it all was like, oh, hey, you're ready to deal with this now.

And I was like, holy fucking shit.

which, you know, I did once and I fucking hated. I absolutely hated

dry January. But I found that actually going fully sober was a lot easier, even with the past

trauma stuff. But it all makes sense. It all makes sense. I don't know. Like going through all of

that was the best thing that I've ever done with my life. It was the hardest thing. But wow, being sober now, I cannot tell you how much better life is. It is like, like, I feel like a completely different person. Like, I am more capable. I don't feel like I'm desperately need therapy or need to be looked after or
