So, Hamdulillah, but I mean tonight we actually are going to get started with what should be a really pleasant and insha'Allah and enlightening three sessions

So, I started off by looking at the story of Abdullahu al-Rawah al-Diyallahu al-Tala'inhu and my initial thought was that I would do a short halak about him at the end of this, you know, season

But then I started digging, digging, and digging and I thought he deserves his own class tonight, Bidni Nahi Tala

And then I thought that it would be nice for us to spend the next three weeks actually looking at this genre of sahaba that all happened to be from the ansat

And all happened to have a similar entry point into the life of the prophets, may peace be upon him

And these are the three poets of the prophets, may peace be upon him

And usually, when I say the poet of the prophets, may peace be upon him, who is the first person that comes to the mind of Muslims?

Hassan bin Thabbat al-Alawan

Right? Hassan bin Thabbat is the most notable poet of the prophets, may peace be upon him

And we're going to talk about him insha'Allah, Tala

But Ibn Syedin, mercy be upon him, Allah ta'ala says,

Kana sh-shua'ara wa Rasulillah, he sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, ta'ath

That the poets of the prophets, sallallahu alayhi wa sallam were three people

Abdullahu al-Rawah wa Hassan bin Thabbat wa Ka'b bin Numalik

These are the three poets of the prophets, sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

Abdullahu al-Rawah wa Hassan bin Thabbat

And Ka'b bin Numalik, may Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala be pleased with them all

Ka'b bin Numalik, of course, is the companion whose story is most famous for his toba, for his repentance

And we'll talk about him either next week or the week after insha'Allah, Tala

But the next three weeks, we're going to spend on these three poets of the prophets, sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

Now, Abdullahu al-Rawah wa Hassan bin Thabbat wa Ka'b bin Numalik
