Taylor says to Abdul Carter wake up kid and uh it's it's one of my favorite things ever because i mean it's it's written by

stevee who's legend and but but the the audacity of laurence taylor who probably never

showed up to a meeting not ripped on cocaine if he showed up to meetings at all i think he told

some story maybe it was on pardon my take i'm not sure exactly where it was but he told some

story really recently about how he at he didn't know that they like he he had messed up the date of

the game and he figured out that they

were playing because he drove by the metal lands and the lights were on so I think he thought

the game like was on Monday night and it was actually on Sunday night and he's driving down like

the Jersey turnpike and he's like oh crap the lights are on the stadium

and he like shows up it's like the second quarter now i don't know if that can be true because

the inactive rules may have been different back then but like and i guess back then like there

wouldn't be a way to get a hold of your player if he wasn't home, right? Because there's no cell phones.

But like, okay, Abdul Carter, for those of you don't know, I mean, he was benched for

for a second time of three weeks. For the second time in three weeks. But we're talking about

being, I don't know, five minutes late to a meeting versus either just not coming or being

high enough to not be able to function during a meeting and then just being so good that all

of your coaches are like, well, whatever. Have you ever heard the Belichick, Belichick Parcell's story on
