and the simultaneous appearance of lights in the night sky.

The conspiracy-minded had quickly sung rumors of extraterrestrial visitation and alien abduction,

since not a trace of those missing had ever been found.

In due course of time, flames of sensationalism would fade and

normalcy return to the community. But as with many mysteries, they can resurface to

haunt again when least expected. in least expect it.
