1:09.0	Great to have you here on Pushback. Great to be here. This film was infuriating. It's sad and it's also inspiring to see
1:18.6	what Palestinians, how brave they were and going out in the face of Israeli fire every single
1:26.1	week to protest for their rights. The footage you have is also just stunning. Talk about, first of all, how this film came about. Sure. Mike Prysner and I, who co-direct and produced the Empire Files as well, which was a weekly investigative series looking at issues to the lens of U.S. Empire. We were in the West Bank in 2017. We tried to get into Gaza. We had all the proper
1:45.2	press credentials, filled out all the right paperwork, and we were outright denied by the
1:48.7	Israeli press office on the premise that we were propagandists and not journalists, and also
1:54.8	levying the charge that I was an Iranian agent. I'm used to being called a Russian agent,
1:59.8	so that was news to me. Fast forward
2:02.2	a year later, when the Great March of Return sparked off. And I had a Skype session with about
