I've used this metaphor a few times the past couple days and I kind of enjoy it, so bear with me.

There's been this vague sense that the Steelers are on bended knee and waiting for an answer.

It's like when you go to the game and the guy decides he's going to propose

and you never know if she's going to say yes or no,

or yes for the cameras and no on the drive home.

But he's waiting, and we're all waiting.
