Welcome to the treatment. If you've seen the show Boondocks, you know my guest, creator Boondocks TV show, and the original comic strip, Aaron McRuder, his new show on Adult Swim is, I think a show he invented just so you have somebody say previously on Black Jesus.

The show is Black Jesus.

It's the whole reason why we did it.

That in the second episode, previously on Black Jesus,

it's the reason to own a television set just for that introduction.

First of all, Aaron, thank you so much.

Thank you, Elvis.

Thank you so much for coming.

And first of all, the show, we should say, is sort of you combine the greatest story you ever told on Friday.

You would get this show, which is a live action show.

One of the things that you do so often in your work, you've done so often in your work, and you bring here is an understanding

that one person has a complete belief in what he says is right, and the other person has a

complete belief in what he says is right, but there is naivete and calculation between the two.

The idea was to make Jesus Jesus, but to make him flawed, like you would any good character.

So you can continue to have an interesting relationship between all of these other characters

and their Lord and Savior. And that is a relationship which is always very personal and internal.

And we don't ever see other people really, except like the crazy guy on the street who's just ranting to nobody.

You know, he's talking to somebody.

But we normally, when people have that dialogue with whoever they believe their God is. It's so often personal and quiet.

And one of the things we do in this show is play those conversations out literally.
