Welcome to the Bronx Pinsripe Show.

Aaron Judge is the 16th captain, question of the New York Yankees. And I'm going to try and not cough through the microphone this entire episode as I'm getting over the flute.

Scott, what's up? What's up, man? How you doing? I'm glad we got some really good news today, actually.

Darren Judge being the captain before we recorded,

which is amazing. It doesn't usually happen this way. But man, when I saw Jeter at that press

conference, I was like, yes, something's happening. It's happening. And I kept, you know, of course,

Jeter's going to be there for that. But that's a good sign to me that Derek Jeter is going to be

somewhat more involved

with the organization. I would be surprised if we didn't see more of that with him coming up for

something like this. So yeah, for sure, because- Pretty awesome. Because Jeter, even if Judge was going

to be named captain and Jeter was still an exec with the Marlins, he's not showing up for the judge press conference if he's still with the marlins and also jeter's not showing up if

judge isn't being named captain at this press conference that's that's the thing but even

even him not being an executive at uh in in florida and the judge thing happening.

I don't know.

He's just been distant.

So it's just a good time that there's a lot of really good things happening with

them.
