Welcome to the Bronx Pins Stripe Show, the first episode of the regular season of 2023. It's in the books. Yankees took two out of three from the Giants. A lot of good stuff this weekend. A lot of good stuff on opening day. Some bad things over the course of the weekend, too. We're going to talk about it all. Scott, how you feel it? Good, man. It was a good weekend. you got the series win. That's the name of the game, right? That's all year along. We're going to be looking at how they're doing in these series. Are they pulling out the victory? Or are they not? Because that's going to tell the big tale of how this team would do it. But I thought overall it was good. We got some, you know, Cole was dominant, absolutely dominant.

He looked like the guy everybody wants him to be and the guy that he believes he is and the guy that the Yankees apparently believe he is as well.

He looked every bit of that guy.

So hopefully he could bottle it up.

And then a couple different sides of the coin for pitching performances for the next two games.

So this, I'm going to preface this with, this is not a serious take, but I'm going to talk about

it like it's a serious take. The reason that Cole had such a great day is because did you

notice that this is the shortest his hair has been as a New York Yankee so far? You could not

see any hair. So he is now fully embracing a New York Yankee so far. You could not see any hair. So he is

now fully embracing the New York Yankees lifestyle. He's like, I'm not going to go down to the shoulder. I'm not going to sort of get fancy with the rules. I'm not going to do the pseudo-mullet anymore. No, no, no, no. Pressure is a privilege. I got to go to the barber. Get that shit high and tight. I'm ready to go. I'm officially in New York Yankee now. So you're thinking that

I mean, one of the first things that I noticed on opening day

was were those tear-drop eyebrows by Mr. Aaron Judge.
