It's August 15th, and I'm Scott Pianowski, one of your rotating hosts as we navigate through the teeth of fantasy football draft season in August. He didn't have to go the underscore route like so many of his poor saps. Mr. Levittan, how are you doing

today? I'm doing well. Thanks for having me. I appreciate it. My pleasure, man. My pleasure. And I think

it's a great time to have you on before the season because I think one of your best skills as a fantasy

player is you like all of us you're included in the news and you listen to what's going on and

you observe and you know that so much of what we're told is BS coaches have no reason to tell

us the truth they mislead they they manipulate the media and you're able to synthesize that

and come up with actionable takes

you know whether it's your draft takes dFS takes um player prop takes team prop takes i i know you were

on the tray lance to go number three to the niners i don't know how you came up with that maybe we'll

talk about that in a little bit but before we talk about some of the news of, if it's even worthwhile news of the

last few days, then we get some of the more specific stuff, I don't even know if this is an answerable

question, but how do you get good at that? How do you know when so much of what we're told is

misleading or it's not meant to be honest? How do you know what's actually meaningful and what is it? Yeah, I think, you know, actions are going to speak louder than words.

And, you know, all this, you know, beat writers are great and I appreciate the work that they do.

Beat writer saying that ex-player is performing really well in practice, I mean, means absolutely

nothing to me. Like, it means, I mean, literally nothing, you know. If a coach says that a player

is playing well, it doesn't really mean much.

If a coach has a player is playing poorly, maybe it means something, but there could be

underlying motives there.

Also, it's really actions.

Did they add someone to their backfielding frequency or the draft?
