Tim Hardaway Jr. told us it jumped off the film as he did his homework on the previous series.

They're expecting another physical series. And as Yokic has said in the past, the nuggetsuggets are working to be the aggressors this time around.

Physicality is the first word that Aaron Gordon used when asked to recall the Minnesota matchups.

And Gordon has his plate full.

He is preparing to guard multiple players, multiple prolific scores.

Could be Julius Randall, could be Anthony Edwards, and those are two very different players.

Gordon said the keys to study tendencies be prepared for the various ways that they might want to attack him.

The Nuggets might go small themselves. Adelman talked about their depth, the rotation, the possibility of going small, whether that's sliding Aaron Gordon to the backup five.

They've done it with Spencer Jones in the regular season.

And Jonas Valchunis could still be an option. They feel good about the rotation. They feel good about the depth. Having said that, David Alderman did tell us, sometimes you need to drop the rotation down to seven and a half guys to win a playoff game. If that's what they have to do, then that's what they'll do. Speaking of coverages, the wolves infamously pioneered the original Yokage defense. They had Carl Anthony Towns as the primary, allowing Rudy Gobert to roam and wreak havoc in the paint. He was guarding Aaron Gordon back in the day, a bit different now that Gordon can shoot. It's a bit different because both of these rosters are different. Having said all of that, Adelman still expects to see variations of that coverage. It could be McDaniels guarding Yokic at times. It could be Randall. It could even be Anthony Edwards, Alderman said, if they want to go

really small. The team has spent really multiple seasons now, but this year in particular,

preparing themselves for how to handle that if they see it,

including smarter and sharper entry passes. He gave some credit to guys at the end of the

bench in that last game of the regular season for finding ways to get Yokch the ball in advantageous

positions. It's going to be a key here in the postseason. And how about Denver's defense?
