On today's show, we're going to break down what Aaron Glenn and Darren Moji said yesterday at the NFL scouting combine. The Jets head coach

and general manager spoke to the media. And unlike most off-season press conferences,

where you get a lot of boilerplate answers to questions, we got some substance from Moji

in particular. And we also heard some discussion from Glenn.

Mugi declared that the Jets are making a decision, which doesn't sound that great, picking up Will

McDonald's fifth year option. We'll talk about that. Mucci also announced the Jets are likely to give

Brise Hall the franchise tag if they can't work out a long-term deal. That's a good decision. We'll

talk about that. But we must begin by talking about

what Aaron Glenn had to say. On yesterday's show, I led with a preview of Glenn's press conference.

And while I typically am not a big believer that press conferences have a ton of meeting,

this was an exception to me because of what transpired during the first

couple weeks of the off season, where the Jets turned over over half of their coaching staff

and not just low-level assistance. We're not talking about quality control coaches. We're not

talking about entry-level offensive defensive assistance. We're not talking about assistant position coaches. The Jets turned over key members of their coaches. We're not talking about entry-level offensive defensive assistance. We're not talking about assistant position coaches. The Jets turned over key members of their coaching staff,

the offensive coordinator. The defensive coordinator was fired in season, the passing game

coordinator, key position coaches, the quarterbacks coach, the defensive line coach. Glenn

essentially overhauled his coaching staff.

And it was striking because usually you don't see that big of a change after year one.
