on the state of Apple shares on Monday, though it was largely undone by a couple of

points. The piece was written by Brian Sozzi, executive editor of Yahoo Finance, and

it addressed the awful August Apple shares are having.

That's not the part that comes undone.

Apple shares are having an awful August, down about 11% from their high on the 31st of July when they hit

196.45. They closed Monday just under 176.

So he says a correction is often defined as a decline of at least 10% in the stock price or market from a peak

that put shares of the Kubertino Company in Correction Territory.

Now one worry listed for Apple and the piece is concerned around the economy in China.

Kind of hard to tell where that worry is coming from though.

According to the report fears on the health of over-leveraged property developers,

a slow-to-act Chinese government on the yonawming crisis and a sagging stock market have clouded

the outlook for Apple product demand.

Yet the piece goes on to paint a fairly decent picture for Apple expectations in the Middle

Kingdom.

Quoting the report again, Greater China is seen hauling in 67.2 billion dollars in sales for Apple in the fiscal year that ends on the 24th of September.

That represents 18% of the company's total sales.
