and I think there are, to teachers.

I don't know what your situation is, whether you're doing it in a Zoom room,

or if you're one of these teachers who is actually in a classroom,

but we appreciate everything you do.

And we're glad that you have a

sense of humor about things, don't we, Sherry? You have to have a sense of humor these days about

things. A bunch of teachers shared the most ridiculous blank that parents ever ask them to do.

So let's just listen to some of these teachers what they were asked to do. And then when we come

upon a teacher next time, especially if it's a teacher teaching one of our kids, we'll be a little bit more understanding. The first teacher says, the day before an overnight field trip for high schoolers, one mother sent me seven pages of instructions for her 16-year-old daughter. There was a whole section about how she liked to have her hairstyled

and the types of food she preferred.

The counselor and I tried to set up a meeting to clarify the role of chaperone,

but the mom wouldn't come in.

Instead, she FaceTimeed us from the gym while she was on the treadmill.
