But I just wanted to jump into the feed for a moment to share that today we're going to be releasing something new for us.

It's a short video, which I very much hope you'll watch.

A year ago, in the earliest days of the war, we interviewed Ariel Marcoz, the mother of

four whose husband had just been called up to the army.

It aired as the second wartime diary we released on

October 13th, 2023. Exactly one year later our producerslic Fumchenko and Mitch Ginsburg returned to Ariel,

played her her own episode and asked her to reflect on what it was like to hear it, year later with all that's happened since.

The result is a really touching 8 minute long video

which you'll be able to see on our YouTube channel.

We'll also post it on social media

and in the show notes to this announcement.

Obviously this is something completely new for us,

an experiment really.

So we'd love to hear what you think as our plan is to release short videos.

Not often but from time to time is another way of telling the story of this complicated place.
