First up, the initial batch of documents retrieved by the national archives from Trump, included more than 150 marked as classified.

A number that ignited intense concerns at the justice department and actually helped trigger the criminal investigation that led FBI agents to search execute a search warrant on Mar-a-Lago this month.

That was August 8th. It's been 14 days in total. The government has recovered more than 300 documents with the classified markings from Trump since he left office 300.

That's according to people familiar that first batch of documents returned in January. Another set provided by Trump's aids to the justice department in June and the materials seized by the FBI in the search this month.

300 the previously unreported volume with a sensitive material found in the former president's possession in January helps explain why the justice department moved so urgently to hunt down any further classified materials he might have.

That's from the post last night, but today Donald ally John Solomon posted a letter that they received the national archives here. This is a quote here from from Politico talking about this letter.

The national archives found more than 700 pages of classified material, including special access program materials.
