Well, we're currently in a series called What Shall I Give Him?

It's Parts 2 and 3. Your life as a worshipful offering, and a good question,

what is love?

We'll be hearing from Jim and Andrea Hawthorne.

Jim is the nephew of Jim Elliot,

and Andrea is the niece of Elizabeth Elliot.

They have a unique story.

But today they'll be talking about the story of the five martyrs in Operation Alka, Jim Elliot among them, who were killed in their efforts to reach

out to the Alka or Well Donnie people.

You know, there are certain times in our lives that stand out, whether it has to do with President

dying, an attack on the U.S., maybe a NASA disaster, something that happens in widespread remembrance of that day.

Well, some events like that happen before we're even around, but we hear about it later, about those pivotal moments in our family's lives.

Well, today they'll tell us about whether they remember the first time they heard the story of the five martyrs in Operation Alka.

Later on we'll hear the voice of Jim Elliot himself, dealing with General MacArthur

and the return of Jesus. That's later. Right now though
