My name is Blankita Collum. You know, I've been trying to look at this

whole issue of freedom of religion. We're so special in this country because when you think

about it, it's in the Constitution. It's divided into two major categories. The first prevents

the government from establishing a state-sponsored religion or promoting, favoring one religion over the other.

But I'm wondering if that's actually correct.

And the second part of that is the establishment, the free exercise clause, which means that the government is prohibited from interfering with your ability to

practice your religion. Well, I am so delighted to welcome a wonderful new friend of the show,

Pastor William Devlin. And Pastor, you know, lots happening with religion all over the world.

You know, we've seen the Christians in Nigeria that have had, they're suffering brutal killings.

We have attacks on the Jews and New Yorks, whether it's trying to destroy their temples or to face their monuments. You also have the same thing here with even the Scientologists.

And sometimes I wonder if we're even a little snobby

and we say, well, some people have alleged

that they're a cult rather in a religion.

This is where I say, well, do we have a pecking order

of who we're interested in or not or overall? do we see people that are, and a lot of young

people that have made a decision that there is no protection of churches or crosses or, you

know, temples or any other kind of form of religion.
