Every week I sit down to write the little intro to this podcast.

It's different from anything else I write for my blog, blog, website, social sites or books,

mostly because it's about myself and my writing, what I've been up to.

The writing life is often the same old, same old.

Guess what? This week I set down at my computer and type words.

Typing those words is a lot of fun, of course, but it doesn't always make for the most

scintillating intro.

The podcast is also one of the few things I do that doesn't allow me to interact with

my audience.

So sometimes I get this feeling that I'm talking into the void

and end up wanting to be goofy.

Hello, anybody out there?

Y'all should be very, very glad that I've yet to break out into spontaneous

karaoke or the like.

At any rate, because I've told you what I've been up to this week, I sat down at my desk and wrote, yay, words!

And because I don't get the opportunity to interact with you as much as I'd like, let's just

call this intro that Katie didn't have anything interesting to say, except a big fat thank you to all your wordplay
