Hello friends, this is Scott Pauli and welcome to enjoying the journey. There is no special

introduction, no announcer today, no music, you're just stuck with me for the next few moments.

And I really just wanted to have an informal conversation with the regular listeners of our podcast.

And so I want to take kind of an off day from our regular Bible study days just to speak with you for a moment and to thank you for being a part of this particular Bible study.

I had no idea when we started the podcast what kind of reception it would receive, but truly we've been overwhelmed by the people listening and responding,

hearing from people in so many places who are in the Word of God with us, and that's exciting to me.

I was thinking today of that beautiful passage in Luke 24 where Jesus talked to those two disciples along the way as they journeyed.

He opened to them the scriptures and he

opened their eyes and they said did not our hearts burn within us i hope that that will be what

god does in your heart as we study the word of god together that as we travel along this road

and journey through scripture christ will do something very deep and powerful inside of you.

And so thank you for listening and we're grateful to God for you and praying for you.

Now there are a handful of things I'd like to ask you if you would do to help us in this work.

Number one, would you pray for us? We need your prayers. Doors are opening. opportunities are before us, we need the Lord's discernment, and frankly, we need divine favor.

And I know that comes through prayer. If you'll pray when you're listening to the broadcast that God will use it in the lives of other people, I believe we'll see many come to the Lord and many of God's people helped.

And you can have a part in this ministry of the word through prayer.

The second thing I'd like to encourage you to do is to personally subscribe.

Now, you're already a listener or you wouldn't be listening right now.

So through some means, you listen.

As a matter of fact, we just craw cross something like 65,000 listens since we started

the podcast. That's tremendous. But we have hundreds and hundreds of people who listen but

do not subscribe. And you say, well, what's the difference? Well, when you become a subscriber,
