Hi, everybody. This is Martha McCallum, and today we are speaking to you from New York on the

anniversary of September 11th, 24 years ago, a day that we all remember profoundly,

and a day that always causes us to pause and remember and to pray.

We also are dealing with the loss of Charlie Kirk,

the assassination of someone who was very well known to all of us here at Fox and certainly to the

larger country as well. And I'm particularly grateful to be joined today by Bishop Robert Barron,

who is joining me with his thoughts on all of these developments. He's the Word on Fire

Founder, the Bishop of the Diocese of Winona, Rochester, Minnesota,

and he is really also the leader of a movement within the Catholic Church, and he has done so much

to create provocative conversation with so many people, including Charlie Kirk and Ben Shapiro and so

many others. So Bishop Barron, thank you so much for joining me today.

Martha, you're welcome. Good morning to you. If you don't mind, I would love for you to start with a blessing

as we all approach these very difficult topics this morning. Let's pray. Lord guide our country,

help our country. Help us to move always in the path toward peace and toward love.

Let us follow Jesus, whom you sent in our midst to be our Savior.

And I ask the blessing of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit to come down upon all who are listening and watching and remain forever and ever.

in Minnesota, you suffered a terrible situation recently as well at Annunciation Church during a mass.
