Good afternoon, parish orphans and retrogrades. I come to you today because it's been a taxing two weeks, a taxing two weeks of finagling and harassment and confusion engendering by our own Holy Father with this Motu Proprio.

And I've done a handful of shows from different angles, from different perspectives,

addressing what the Motu probably would be, what it was, what the ramifications are for SSPX, for folks that love the Latin Mass but don't want to go to

SSPX. I did a show in, in, not of, show with my buddy boss about what the ramifications are just for

ordinary family men that aren't theologians that don't claim to be that just want to keep

their families holy. And now I just, I have a family men that aren't theologians that don't claim to be that just want to keep their

families holy. And now I just, I have a short show for you today that is a bit of a

credicor from me, and it's actually a creedicor from J.R.R. Tolkien. A friend of mine sent me this

passage from the letters of Tolkien edited by Humphrey Carpenter

and Christopher Tolkien, his son, helped compile it.

It's Houghton Mifflin, whatever that is, Dunder Mifflin, 1981 publication.

It says something important about suffering within the church.

Because my whole talking point since the Moturoprio has been released and even before,

has been suffering is the true spirituality, east and west, that is the true Christian spirituality. And we

ought to be willing to do it. What if Francis, what if the novice ordo Misei, which is not

the Sacrosanctum Conchialum Mass, by the way, What if that's a scourge? What if it's a punishment? What

if it's a test from God? No one knows how to connect the dots except after. You can't connect the dots

except after the fact. Post-hote. So we don't know that I think that's the best meaning, the best

hermeneutic of what's going on in the church.

And what most of the people that like me or listen to me but disagree with me say are,

it typically goes something like this.

Yeah, Christians have to suffer, but we suffer from outside the church at the hands of our opponents, not from within the church.
