privilege in the world to be with so many friends from all over the world who join me every

week to listen to my stories, inspiration, biblical encouragement, and I am just so glad

Hi my friends, it's Sally Clarkson and I am so excited to be with you today. I won't

be able to podcast for as long today because always, always, always, always, always in this

year, 2020 and 21 things come up. Interesting things come up, but I am so happy to have you

with me today and I hope that even a short podcast will be of great encouragement to you.

I'm continuing today on my book study. I'm back to it again, Awaking Wonder, opening

your child's heart to the beauty of learning. But as I start today, I want to read to a couple

of different quotations from the beginning of the chapter and I'm going to be starting

at chapter three and it's a wonder-filled mentor. As I look back and this is one of the

reasons I think that so many people wanted me to give more specifics on how we educated

our children and of course we've already written a long book educating the wholehearted

child about that. But I wrote Awaking Wonder many, many years later with many, many opportunities

to think through what is it that we did because I feel very concerned as I look on the

landscape of culture today and especially supposed cultural questions that many people

don't know how to think and if you don't know how to think philosophically, if you don't

know that the foundation of what you believe leads to the decisions that you make, okay,

whoops, I'm getting a call. Let me turn it down. If you don't know that how you think

and what you think and how clearly you base your truth on foundations of truth, it will
