if you guys watched last week's episode, we talked about Abigail, and I told y'all this week, we're talking about Esther. So we all know the story of Esther. Esther, Esther was the Jew that was taken to the King's palace because the king was looking for a new wife because he had to get rid of Vashti. And then while Esther was queen, her uncle Mordecai told her that there was a decree put out to kill all the Jews. And he said to Esther, perhaps you were created for such a time as this. You need to go into the king and tell the king that his number one man is out here moving funny and you need to do something about it. Right. And Esther did do something about it and all was well in the palace. Right. that's a quick little summary of what happened in the

book of esther and when i was reading the book of esther today preparing for this video god allowed verse 13 to stand out to me and in verse 13 it says mordecai sent this reply to esther so what happened was esther heard that mordecai was kind of going through it so she sent one of her men to find out like what's wrong with Mordecai so they were like talking back and forth and Mordecai was letting her know like there's a decree out to kill the Jews you need to do something about it so when you read verse 11 Esther said to Mordecai all the king's officials and even the people in the provinces know that anyone who appears before the king in his inner court without being invited in is doomed to die. So she's let a Mordecai know it's nothing that I can do because the king did not call for me to come in, so I really can't help you. So in verse 13, it says, Mordecai sent this reply to Esther. Don't think for a moment that because you're in the palace, you will escape when all other Jews are killed. He was like, don't get beside yourself. Just because you in the palace and nobody in the palace know you a Jew, I know you a Jew, and if you don't do something for the Jews, you and all of us gonna get killed. Like he was just letting her know. Like, he gave her a reality check, right? So then it says, if you keep quiet at a time like this,ance and relief for the jews will arise from some

other place but you and your relatives will die who knows if perhaps you were made queen for such a time

as this verse 15 says then esther sent this reply to mordecai go and gather together all the jews of sosa

and fast for me do not eat or drink for three days my My maize and I will do the same. And then, though it is against the law, I will go in to see the king. If I must die, I must die. So Mordecai went away and did everything as Esther had ordered him. And y'all, the two verses that God allowed to stand out to me is verse 13 where Mordecai checked her like, don't think for a moment, don't think for a second that just because you're in a palace, just because you queen now, just because you got a crown in your servants or whatever, don't think for a moment that because you're in the palace, you will escape when all other Jews are killed. And the next verse that stood out to me was verse 16, where she says, and though it is against the law, I will go see the king. If I must die, I must

die. And I circled though it is against the law, because something that God showed me is that

sometimes a wife's role will require rule breaking. When I was taking notes for this episode,

God showed me that the curse that God creates you to break will overtake you if you don't fulfill the role that God assigned

to you. Sometimes, as a wife, you have to go against the rules, go against the structure,

go against the way that things have normally been, because you have to understand that you

are assigned as a wife, meaning that in that assignment,

there's something that you're anointed to do. God does not call you to be a wife to just fall

in the routine and fall in the structure of his family or your family. No, you are on assignment.

When God assigns you to a marriage, there's something in that marriage that God wants you to change.
