children. Proverbs has a lot to say about the training of children. In Proverbs 226, we

read, train up a child in the way he should go, and even when he is old, he will not depart

from it. The job of mothers is really to train replacements. Every mother's goal should

be to train her children to replace her. The mother's effectiveness depends on multiplying

her abilities around the house. Recently, I have had conversations with new moms who are

struggling to get their children to work around the house. Simple things like chores,

become battles for control, and moms frustrated at the end of the day shows when she decides
