This is the rant.

Got a quick one for you today.

I want to briefly talk about Mike Vrable, and then we'll dive into each of the six games.

Just a few quick thoughts on each of those games, setting up the divisional round of the playoffs.

Wild card round, I thought, was a lot of fun.

No, not all the games were close, but they don't have to be close games to be enjoyable games as far as i'm concerned and i

enjoyed every last bit of it and let's not forget when it's all sudden done we just have seven

more games left in what will be the 2024 NFL season so let's enjoy them while we still have them, that's for sure.

All right, so let's talk Rable very quickly here.

As expected, he ended up getting the Patriots job.

Honestly, had they not given Gerard Mayo the advance,

like they handpicked him to be Bill Belichick's successor.

Have they not done that, maybe Brable was hired last year. It seems like he's the guy they may

have won it all along. He will bring in the Patriots Way culture. He knows it. He played under Belichick. He understands all

of that. And he very well could have Josh McDaniels as his offensive coordinator. That's the

scuttle butt right now. We'll see if that ultimately happens. And I don't think that's a bad thing.

I know McDaniels is going to get a bumrat for his two failed head coaching stints, and rightfully so. But as an

offensive coordinator, I don't think he's that bad. And I'll say this over and over and over
