Well, hello and welcome to episode number 501, and I want to say thank you for coming to the Potter's cast and I'm really excited to be

starting out this next journey of 500 episodes. Okay, it's quite true. We don't know for sure what

the future holds, but let's just say here's to dreaming. That's the wish, right? Okay. I have a correction to make, and I'm grateful for Judy Taville, who is a potter's cast alumni. She's been on the potter's cast before, and I'm really grateful for her. And she's one of these potters that I just love. I always have loved her work. But anyhow, she's an awesome potter.

Anyhow, she was listening to the episode with Ian Childers.

And I made a mistake when I was talking about the podcast called Ear Hustle, I mentioned that Erlon had been

thrown into prison because of a murder he committed.

And that was wrong.

I remembered the story completely wrong.

She wrote me and said, Paul, you made a mistake.

And she gave me the quote of where specifically

this was the issue with Erlon. Earlier this year, we introduced you to a man named Erlon Woods

who got some big news yesterday. Woods is an inmate of San Quentin State Prison in California.

He was sentenced to 31 years to life for attempted robbery in 1999.

It was a third conviction, and that's why he got the three-strike rule, the three strikes and you're out, which was not murder.

And so I'm grateful that I was corrected for that. So thank you very
