0:06.1	a way of fixing it and now we're seeing what that really looks like and that really looks
0:09.3	like a huge huge huge achievement gap based on where you come from based on your income

0:20.2	we look at how schools are in equal in this country.

0:32.7	In fact, that's probably an understatement.
0:35.6	Even before school started, we parents, doctors and educators alike all braced for chaos

0:44.7	That was even after so many schools struggled in the spring.
0:48.1	When the coronavirus sent most of the country into disarray, there were so many unknowns.
0:53.7	We didn't know if schools should be completely virtual or in person or if we could somehow
0:58.0	do both in a hybrid model.
1:00.3	We didn't know if schools would become hot spots for outbreaks.
1:03.3	We didn't know if our children could actually do well online.
1:06.7	Well, now that the fall semester is almost over, I wanted to check back in with Evan to
1:12.1	see how schools, parents and students are navigating education in the midst of this pandemic.
