Good afternoon everyone and welcome to the Monday edition of the Dark to Light Podcast with Beans. We have a lot to cover today because there's a lot

going on and a lot of the show is going to focus around COVID today COVID19, the thing that will never go away and rightfully so.

There is a lot that happened over the weekend.

There was a rally in Geneva. A bunch of Freedom Docks and others went out there

to Geneva to protest the WHO who yesterday crammed through completely against their policy regulations.

A meeting of the World Health Assembly concluded Saturday.

This particular assembly meeting the first following the COVID crisis, failed to achieve agreement on wording or a passage of a proposed W.H.O. Pandemic Treaty, also referred to as an agreement.

In parallel to the treaty, the WHA World Health Assembly, in close

cooperation with the U.S. Health and Human Services Department, has been working on

updating the existing International health regulations agreement which historically

functioned as a voluntary accord establishing international norms for reporting, managing, and

cooperating in matters relating to infectious disease and outbreaks, including

pandemics. In blatant disregard for established protocol and procedures,

sweeping IHR amendments were prepared behind closed doors and then both

submitted for consideration and accepted

by the World Health Assembly quite literally in the last moments of a meeting which stretched

late into Saturday night the last day of the meeting.

Although the Article 55 rules and regulations for amending the IHR explicitly require

that the text of any proposed amendment shall be communicated to all states parties by the

Director General at least four months

before the assembly.
