Happy Monday after conference weekend.

How many of you have survived? How many of you have binge watched every recap that has been made after conference? It's been amazing. And the best

thing I like about listening to multiple recaps is that everyone has a different perspective.

Everyone caught something differently. And, and you know, that's true with everything. I remember a talk by Sherry Dew once that said, she had someone come up to her after a speech that she had made.

And they said, thank you so much for your words.

And she said, what exactly did I say that really touched your heart?

And so then the lady told her what it was.

And she said, you know, actually, I didn't say that at all.

And so this was an example that she had of how the spirit touches people differently.

And so I don't think I would use that in this case, but definitely people hear things differently.

And so what we're going to talk about today is the, well, there were multiple things as you listen that create a physical reaction.

But two talks specifically kind of set me off.

One of them was Dallin Oaks's talk, and I've already mentioned that in another podcast that I did.

It was just a rehash of the talk that he gave, I think, in April of 2022.

It was basically the, I am determined to get the proclamation to the family in canon.

He wants it in the Doctrine and Covenants so badly.

And so he has to quote it.

And I love my favorite part was he acted like he didn't know where it came from.

Like, you know, there's this scripture that's out there that we really need to pay attention to.
